Pastor Rob and the Deacons wanted to let everyone know that due to the rising temperatures outside for those that like to sit under the tent and those in cars for worship on Sunday mornings, the times for Sunday School and Worship have been changed
THE NEW TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
SUNDAY SCHOOL IS AT 8:30 AM
WORSHIP IS AT 9:30 AM
The format for Sunday School and Worship will remain the same as current format, ONLY the times are changing.
If you have any questions, please call the church office!
Wilson Grove Baptist Church (WGBC) has begun the process to reassemble our church for
worship service on Sunday mornings inside of our facility.
The process for this has been established by the Pastor and Deacons after much prayer and thoughtful consideration to provide the best ways to do this with the safety and health of all who would come to worship with us as the optimal goal. This process will remain in effect until the Pastor and Deacons are led to believe that we can increase the number of attendees inside of our facility in a safe and reasonable manner in respect to the COVID-19 virus.
We will begin this effort by offering flexible choices for our attendees. It is our desire to be able to continue to observe social distancing as our primary tool, but at the same time offer the ability to attend the Sunday Morning Worship Service.
That flexibility includes 4 options which are listed below:
(1) For those who are not yet comfortable with being outside of their homes, we will continue to broadcast the 11 am service on “Facebook Live” each Sunday. A link will continue to be given to access this via the internet for those who do not have Facebook. The WGBC Sunday School service will also continue in this venue.
(2) Those who wish to go to WGBC, but still do not want to congregate, may come to WGBC and stay in their vehicle.
The service will be broadcast into the parking lot via speakers.
(3) For those who would like to come, but feel that being outside is a safer option, we have set up our big tent just outside the Fellowship Hall with seating for approximately 30-40 people. Again, there will be speakers to hear the service placed there.
This will also act as an overflow if needed for option #4.
(4) We will have seating for 48-50 attendees available inside the Fellowship Hall. This number is within the recommendation of the Mecklenburg County Health Dept. of 12 people/1,000 sq. ft. of floor space.
