Thank you for visiting the Wilson Grove Baptist Church (WGBC) website. WGBC has served Mint Hill and the surrounding communities since 1881 striving to point those facing the storms of life toward the light of Jesus Christ.
We do that by presenting God’s Word, through both the music and the message, in a way that is understandable and applicable in our daily lives. In a world where people feel that no one “gets” them or no one understands them, we desire to change that. God has called us to stand in the gap, extending kindness by showing others there are people who care about them. We are called to introduce others to the God who loves them.
I encourage you to visit us for worship, where I know you will feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Our time together on Sunday mornings gives us the privilege of worshipping at the foot of His throne, singing praises to His name, learning from His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. We are not a perfect church, but we do serve a perfect God, who is actively working to transform each of us into who He created us to be.
